Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar & Rooftop Welcome Dinner
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you’ll be transferred to a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Stone Town. After settling in, take a short walk through nearby historic alleys or relax on the rooftop lounge with views of the sea. As the sun dips below the horizon, enjoy a Zanzibari fusion dinner under the stars—an introduction to the island’s blend of African, Arab, and Indian flavors.
Day 2: Guided Stone Town Walking Tour & Sunset Dhow Cruise
After breakfast, set out with a professional guide to explore Stone Town’s rich history. Visit the House of Wonders, Old Slave Market, Old Fort, and lively bazaars. Learn about Zanzibar’s spice trade, Swahili culture, and architectural fusion. In the afternoon, board a traditional wooden dhow for a peaceful sunset sail along the coast. Enjoy fresh fruit and drinks onboard as you watch the sky change color over the Indian Ocean.
Day 3: Village Visit, Spice Farm & Swahili Cooking Class
Today, you’ll travel outside the city to visit a local village, meet with artisans, and gain insight into rural life in Zanzibar. Then head to a spice plantation where you’ll smell, touch, and taste tropical spices and fruits right off the trees. Learn how to cook a Swahili dish with a local chef using spices you just picked—then sit down to enjoy your meal. In the afternoon, transfer to your eco-lodge or beach resort in Paje or Jambiani.
Day 4: Relaxation & Beach Activities in Paje/Jambiani
Today is all about sunshine and sea. Sleep in, enjoy breakfast with an ocean view, and spend your day on the beach. Optional water activities include kite surfing, snorkeling, paddleboarding, or visiting the Blue Lagoon nearby. Or, simply enjoy the sand between your toes, sip a coconut under the palms, and unwind.
Day 5: Full-Day Safari Blue Experience
Get ready for one of Zanzibar’s most iconic excursions—the Safari Blue Tour. Depart on a traditional dhow for a full day of island hopping, snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs, relaxing on sandbanks, and feasting on a seafood BBQ. You’ll also visit a natural lagoon, spot dolphins (if you’re lucky), and sail back with the wind. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon for a chilled evening by the beach.
Day 6: Farewell Zanzibar
Enjoy your final breakfast with ocean views. Depending on your flight time, take one last swim or beach stroll before being transferred to the airport. You’ll leave with new tastes, sights, and stories from an unforgettable Zanzibar escape.
