Day-By-Day
Have an early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for your domestic flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be transferred to the SGR train station for your journey to Morogoro.
Board the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) train from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro. Enjoy a comfortable and scenic journey through the Tanzanian countryside.
Upon arrival at the Morogoro SGR Station, you will meet your professional safari guide and begin the drive to Mikumi National Park.
Arrive at the park in time for your game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. During the safari, you will have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and many bird species.
After the afternoon game drive, transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, the best time to witness wildlife activity and enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the savannah.
Later, drive back to the Morogoro SGR Station for your train journey to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, transfer to the airport for your evening flight back to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, transfer back to your hotel.

International flights to and from Tanzania are not included in the package. Guests are responsible for booking their own international airfare.

Tips are not included in the package, and tipping is at your discretion. We recommend approximately US$10 per person per day for the guide and safari crew.
