Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Arrive in Arusha, where your safari guide will greet you. After a briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park offers an incredible landscape and great wildlife sightings. Spend the afternoon on a game drive, spotting elephants, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species. In the evening, check into a midrange lodge for a comfortable stay.

Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire before driving to Lake Manyara National Park, about 2-3 hours away. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. A game drive around the lake allows you to explore diverse habitats, from dense forests to open grasslands. After a full day, stay at a lodge near the park.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater

This morning, you’ll travel to Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most famous wildlife sites in the world. After descending into the crater, enjoy a full-day game drive. This volcanic caldera hosts a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, rhinos, elephants, and wildebeest. You’ll also visit a Maasai village in the afternoon to learn about their customs and lifestyle. Return to your lodge for overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

Today, drive to Serengeti National Park, one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in Africa. After a scenic drive, spend the afternoon on a game drive in the Serengeti’s endless plains. Serengeti is home to the Great Migration and offers excellent opportunities to see predators like lions and cheetahs. Overnight at a lodge in or near the park.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Today, enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti, exploring different parts of the park to maximize wildlife sightings. Visit the Seronera region, which is renowned for lion and leopard sightings. Depending on the season, you may be able to witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains. Stay at a midrange lodge within the park for the night.

Day 6: Serengeti – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, travel back to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. You will have the chance to explore new areas of the park, which is also home to large herds of elephants, lions, and a wide variety of birds. Tarangire is particularly known for its baobab trees, which create a unique backdrop to the wildlife. Enjoy a relaxed evening at a lodge near the park.

Day 7: Tarangire – Departure from Arusha

After a morning game drive in Tarangire, head back to Arusha. Depending on your flight time, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or a visit to a nearby cultural center before heading to the airport for your departure.
