Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Arriving in Arusha, you will be met by your private guide and transferred to your luxury vehicle. The drive to Serengeti National Park takes about 4-5 hours, allowing you to take in the breathtaking landscapes as you head to your luxurious accommodation. Upon arrival, enjoy a gourmet lunch and settle into your elegant lodge or tented camp. After lunch, embark on a private afternoon game drive, exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains, which are home to the Big Five and the spectacular Great Migration (season-dependent). Return to the lodge in the evening to enjoy dinner and a relaxing night under the African sky.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll track wildlife as the park comes alive with activity. The Serengeti is home to a wealth of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and hippos. After a luxury picnic lunch in the park, enjoy an afternoon game drive, exploring the different regions of the park, such as the Seronera area, which is known for excellent predator sightings. Spend the evening at your lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind after a day of adventure.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After a morning game drive in Serengeti, you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 3 hours). Upon arrival, check into the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, a luxurious property perched on the crater’s rim, offering breathtaking views of the caldera. After lunch, descend into the crater for an afternoon private game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is known for its high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and numerous bird species. In the evening, return to your lodge for a gourmet dinner and enjoy the panoramic views of the crater below.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara National Park

Start the day with a morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll have another chance to see the incredible wildlife of the caldera. Afterward, travel to Lake Manyara National Park (about 2 hours). Famous for its tree-climbing lions and an abundance of birdlife, Lake Manyara offers a unique safari experience. Upon arrival, check into your luxury lodge with views over the park and the lake. After lunch, spend the afternoon on a game drive in the park, where you’ll observe a variety of habitats, from dense forests to open grasslands, and enjoy sightings of elephants, giraffes, baboons, and flamingos. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park (about 2 hours), known for its massive elephant herds and striking baobab trees. Upon arrival, embark on a luxury game drive, exploring the park’s diverse wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, and lions. Tarangire is a paradise for birdwatchers, offering views of more than 500 species. After a luxury lunch, continue your afternoon game drive, capturing the beauty of the park’s landscapes and wildlife. In the evening, check into your lodge for a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 6: Tarangire – Kilimanjaro Day Tour

On this day, take a break from the wildlife and enjoy a cultural experience around Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, travel to the base of Mount Kilimanjaro (about 2-3 hours). Enjoy a scenic hike on the lower slopes of the mountain, passing through lush rainforests and taking in the stunning views. Along the way, visit a Chagga village to learn about the indigenous people who live on the mountain. You will be introduced to their traditional agricultural practices, including coffee farming, and enjoy a luxury lunch at a local lodge. In the afternoon, return to Arusha for a night at a luxury lodge, where you can relax and enjoy a final dinner in Tanzania.

Day 7: Departure from Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Arusha to explore the town or visit local markets for souvenirs. Depending on your flight schedule, you can also enjoy a last-minute cultural experience or relax at your lodge. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
