Arrival at Arusha airport and transfer to Tarangire for game drive.

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing, you’ll begin your journey southwest toward Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of about 3 hours through rural landscapes and Maasai villages. Upon entering the park, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive through vast savannahs dotted with iconic baobab trees and acacia woodlands. Tarangire is especially renowned for its large herds of elephants, which often gather near the Tarangire River, along with lions, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and more than 500 bird species. After the game drive, you'll head to your lodge or tented camp located either inside or just outside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park, located in northern Tanzania, covers approximately 2,850 square kilometers and is renowned for its vast elephant herds and towering baobab trees. During the dry season, the park becomes a vital refuge for wildlife, drawing thousands of animals to the life-sustaining Tarangire River. It supports over 3,000 elephants, large populations of buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions, leopards, and occasionally cheetahs. Bird enthusiasts can enjoy sightings of more than 550 bird species, including the endemic yellow-collared lovebird and the strikingly colorful lilac-breasted roller. Tarangire offers equally rich game viewing in a more serene and uncrowded setting.
