The Northern Circuit Route is the longest and most scenic route on Mount Kilimanjaro, offering the highest acclimatization profile and summit success rate of all routes. It circles nearly the entire mountain, approaching from the west and traversing the remote northern slopes before summiting from the east.
This route is ideal for climbers who prioritize safety, gradual acclimatization, fewer crowds, and breathtaking wilderness views. Due to its extended duration, the Northern Circuit allows your body ample time to adapt to altitude, significantly reducing the risk of altitude sickness.
Nano Africa Safaris highly recommends the Northern Circuit Route for first-time high-altitude trekkers, photographers, and anyone seeking the most comprehensive Kilimanjaro experience.
